Venom is considered one of the most powerful and potent Blox Fruits in the game because of its passive abilities, overall damage, ease of use, and its versatility when it comes to farming or PvP due to its transformation which, when activated, deals high damage to all enemies in the user's range. Although it has high mastery requirements, with 300 mastery being required to unlock the transformation, this Blox Fruit is decent in terms of grinding due to its [F] ability, being able to deal high amounts of damage by dashing through enemies.
The user starts with 50% of their "Fury Meter" bar filled upon spawning. The user's Fury Meter needs to be full to be able to transform. Fury is regained over time and drains while the user is transformed. Using moves while transformed also decreases the user's fury meter by various amounts. When transformed, the user gains a 50% defense buff with enhanced attacks.
The user can make poisonous puddles by certain attacks (Z, X and transformed C). Every player within the radius of these puddles will be inflicted with a poisonous miasma, which deals a hefty amount of tick damage. If caused by attack [X] or [C] (Transformed), the enemy's screen will turn dark purple and wobble. The puddles also deal damage to enemies, but they will not be affected by miasma and will not be damaged if they walk out from the puddles.
While transformed, Air Jumping two or more times or going up to a good height and then falling to the ground will cause a small explosion and leave poison puddles. The duration of the user's fall does not affect the spread of the puddles. This passive is similar to Mammoth's Prehistoric Leap and Awakened Buddha's Seismic Jump passive.
This move has decent stun and range with a relatively low cooldown. It creates poisonous projectiles that damage enemies.
This ability auto-aims to the nearest enemy (must be pointing in the direction where the enemy is). It has a good hitbox and causes enemy vision to be distorted.
This move deals decent damage and puts a short poison after-effect on enemies. When transformed, this ability creates a large toxic cloud that deals continuous damage.
The user transforms into a giant humanoid hydra. The transformation is fast and provides enhanced abilities and a 50% defense buff.
A strong move for grinding that is accessible to lower level players due to the low mastery (50). The lower the user's health is, the faster the flight speed is. This move has a relatively low cooldown and the Deadly Venom passive can last longer than other moves (seven ticks of damage).
If combined with Shark V4, Venom is very good in teaming situations as the constant tick damage will refill Shark's Leviathan's Armor, providing more survivability.
Venom's transformation with Ghoul V4 is very potent against Rumbling Waters, as the user can spam all their moves and get their V4 in a matter of seconds, making this combination just as good as Magma.
Venom is a good counter to Awakened Dough, as most of Dough's moves need to be held to deal maximum damage. Venom is able to interrupt Dough moves and combos very well.
It is recommended to use Ghoul V3, Shark V2/V3 passive, or Human V3 while using Venom. Ghoul reduces cooldowns even more for Venom, Shark takes no damage in water and Human buffs the damage.
Venom is the only fruit that starts with the letter "V".
Venom shares similarities with Magma, as both have abilities that create puddles that cause damage over time.
When transformed, the user is immune to all environment lava puddles like Tiger.
Venom is the only Natural fruit to have a Fury Meter.
Venom, Spirit and Classic Dragon are the only fruits not to receive a model rework in Update 20.
Venom is the first Natural fruit to have a power meter, the second being Shadow and the third being Spirit.
Venom was first released in the game.
Venom Fruit's model's icon was remade.
