A Mythical Natural-type fruit that grants the user the ability to manipulate spirits, which can offer heavenly buffs or disastrous traps to enemies.
Release Date: December 31, 2021
Spirit (formerly known as Soul) is a Mythical Natural-type Blox Fruit that costs $3,400,000 or R$2,550 from the Blox Fruit Dealer. It allows the user to use spirit-based attacks, mainly revolving around Demons (Ra) and Angels (Shu). Ra and Shu are most likely based on the Egyptian gods, Ra and Shu.

The user can summon spirits that attack, heal, or grant speed upon being summoned, providing strong support capabilities alongside massive AoE potential in PvP. Spirit is the fifth most expensive fruit in the game, having reasonable value in trading.
It remains as a good option for grinding due to the M1 being extremely 'spammy', and the [Z], [X] and [C] all have little to no knockback with good damage. Spirit excels in PvP thanks to its high damage output and strong combo potential, being a powerful fruit for punishing enemies and dishing out large amounts of damage in a matter of seconds due to its incredible stun and good AoE. However, its moves have relatively lengthy cooldowns, meaning patience is key when using this fruit.
The user will have a Spirit counter above their moveset and a line that constantly moves between each color. Spirits are collected over time after the bar reaches the end and are used when the user summons a buddy. The buddy summoned depends on the color the bar is in. The maximum amount of spirits that the player can summon is nine.
The user will always have 2 certain Buddies around them, the Angel (Shu) and Demon (Ra). Clicking while the meter is in the cyan area will summon a supportive helper. Clicking while the meter is in the red area will summon an offensive helper.
The Buddies can not be harmed, but they vanish after a few seconds. The range of their effects is also not affected by the players' distance from them. For example, if the user has a healing spirit, it will still heal them even if they are far away. The healing/speed spirits allow the user to easily switch their play style from being aggressive to being passive.
Long stun with huge hitbox. Easy combo starter, combos well into the [C] move. Deals more damage when attacking more enemies.
This move has DoT [burning], temporarily making it disable Instinct for a while in PvP. High range (when held) and high damage, combining well into the [V] move. The animation creates an explosion, making it difficult for the enemy to react in time.
Hard to Instinct-trick. Long stun and large AoE. Quick start and low-end end-lag, making it a good move to "catch" people.
Long stun and large AoE. Insanely high & powerful damage, allowing the user to kill enemies with shorter combos. Quick start and low end-lag, making it another good move to "catch" people.
Good for sky camping. Moderately Fast flight ability.
Star: Heals the user every 2-5 seconds (the user can tell by seeing a green glow around them).
Flying Pig: Gives a temporary speed boost to the player (the user can tell by seeing a small golden orb around them).
Toxic Mushroom: Spouts out poisonous gas similar to Venom's C skill, passively damaging enemies.
Toad: Pulls nearby enemies with its tongue and deals damage.
Cursed Tree: Summons roots that stun nearby enemies. Has auto-aim capability.
Cursed Dual Katana: A top choice due to its extremely high mobility and good combo potential.
Shark Anchor: Has a large hitbox range, creating easy stuns and helping the player start combos easily.
Fox Lamp: Has an extremely long-range stun ability, making closing the distance easier.
Ghoul: Highly recommended with this fruit due to its faster speed, and lower cooldowns from the V3 ability. Ghoul increases the (already high amount of) damage from Spirit, and essentially makes the opponent fight back effectively. When Heightened Senses is activated, Spirit [TAP] will be accelerated to an incredible speed, allowing the player to spam Heavenly Buddies 9 times.
Draco: Also alright due to its high damage and power buffs, but its speed is quite slow, making it difficult to catch people during Bounty Hunting or to escape from difficult situations.
Use [Z] Frostfire Grasp as a combo starter, then follow up with [C] Wrath of Shu. [X] Wrath of Ra works well when held for maximum range and damage, combining effectively into the [V] End of Times move for devastating damage.
Spirit was formerly known as Soul before being renamed.
Ra and Shu are based on Egyptian gods - Ra (sun god) and Shu (god of air).
Cursed Tree is the only buddy whose form was not changed during the rework in Update 17.3.
There was a bug where if the user activated the flying pig's speed and then switched to another permanent fruit, they could keep the speed from the flying pigs. This glitch could be stacked and therefore abused. (Patched in Update 20)
The [X] move has a visual bug that makes it slightly hard to land from afar, but it is easier to use when aiming under the user's avatar.
[C] Wrath of Shu has different sound effects for different targets, slowly scaling with larger opponents. The absolute maximum size is against a Sea Beast.
Spirit was released.
Spirit Fruit's model's icon was remade.
