Fruit Overview

Sound is a Legendary Natural-type Blox Fruit that costs $1,700,000 or R$1,900 from the Blox Fruit Dealer.

Sound enables the user to control and manipulate sound, launching a barrage of musical notes to attack foes. When enhanced by the Tempo Meter, it allows the player and their allies to gain buffs, strengthening them in the process.

Versatile Gameplay

Sound is a very versatile fruit and is a good choice for many activities. It is recognized for dealing AoE damage on every move (excluding the [F] move) and is widely considered as a good choice for both grinding and PvP in medium to late stages such as the second half of the Second Sea, or Third Sea, as well as Sea Beast hunting, as it can provide both a high damage output and valuable support when allied with a group of players.

Grinding: Excellent for grinding due to large AoE attacks
PvP: Great in "crew wars" and team scenarios with buffs for allies
Raids: Effective for raids because of large AoE and high damage on all moves
Support: Provides valuable support to allied players with the Tempo Meter
Sea Beast Hunting: All moves except [F] can damage Sea Beasts

Abilities & Moveset

[Z] Rhapsody Notes

The move can be used three times consecutively, and has a 10 second cooldown. Features almost no knockback, making it excellent for combo chains.

[X] Fortissimo

Delivers decent damage and knockback. The name means "very loud" in musical terminology, reflecting its powerful sonic impact.

[C] Symphonic Radiance

Provides decent knockback with large AoE. Features auto-aim capability and is good for grouping enemies together for follow-up attacks.

[V] Glorious Harmony

Huge AoE that can affect crowds of people/NPCs. Deals high damage and creates greatly distorting effects for both the enemy and user. The projectiles stay around for a while, allowing escape from enemy combos.

[F] Tempo: Prestissimo

Provides great mobility with decent speed. Refills Tempo Meter during flight and increases speed when the user is at low health. "Prestissimo" means "very fast" in musical terminology.

Decreases rapidly when not dealing damage
Runs out completely after 10 seconds of inactivity
When maxed, all moves turn gold and provide enhanced effects

Max Tempo Benefits

When the meter is maxed, the user and nearby allies gain:

Damage Reduction: 15% reduced incoming damage
Speed Boost: 50% increased movement speed
Damage Increase: 10% increased move damage

Trivia & Interesting Facts

Sound is the first fan-made fruit to be added to the game. The original concept was created by @Aqu4G (on X/Twitter), one of the winners of the first fan fruit/art contest.
Many of Sound's moves contain musical vocabulary:
- Tempo: Rate of speed of music played
- Prestissimo: Very fast tempo
- Fortissimo: Very loud dynamic marking
While using [F] Tempo: Prestissimo, the user can fly faster (or even faster with the Tempo Meter activated) when their health is low, but not as fast as Venom.
Sound now allows for the newest, highest potential speed for a player in the game, by combining: Maximum Tempo Meter + Rabbit V4 (and Agility) + Pilot Helmet.
Sound is the second least expensive fruit to have a meter.
Sound is one of the fruits that have meters that are not intended for transformation, with the others being Gravity, Shadow, Creation, Eagle, Pain and Spirit.
