Fruit Overview

Spider (formerly known as String) is a Legendary Natural-type Blox Fruit that costs $1,500,000 or R$1,800 from the Blox Fruit Dealer.

Spider grants the user the ability to control and manipulate strings, similar to a spider's web. The user can swing through the air, slash enemies with sharp strings, summon spiky silk, and throw fiery strings that damage opponents.

Awakening Potential

When awakened, Spider becomes significantly more powerful with all moves being multi-target with large hitboxes. It excels in PvP because of its powerful stuns, high damage, and large hitboxes. However, maximizing its potential requires a relatively skilled player.

Gameplay Roles

PvP: Excellent when awakened due to powerful stuns, high damage, and large hitboxes
Grinding: Less effective for grinding in its base form but becomes decent when awakened
Mobility: Awakened [F] Spider Highway serves as great mobility for Sword Mains

Abilities & Moveset

Unawakened Moveset

[Z] Spider Wraith 1 Mastery

Decent damage. Uses the same sound effect as Cyborg V4's Energy Control Super Jump.

[X] Multi-string Attack 50 Mastery

Decent stun and AoE. Can be improved when awakened for better performance.

[C] Over-heated Sniper 100 Mastery

Extremely high range. The further the enemy is from the player, the more damage the move will deal. Can leave a tripwire effect for two seconds after launching that still inflicts damage upon contact. Breaks instinct. Many consider this move to be better than its awakened version.

[V] Ultimate Thread 225 Mastery

High stun and breaks instinct. Effective for controlling enemy movement.

[F] Spider Path 15 Mastery

Decent speed for mobility. This is actually the pre-rework awakened String's [F] Spider Highway.

Awakened Moveset

When awakened, all Spider moves become multi-target with large hitboxes. Each awakened move can be held to deal more damage, though not indefinitely. The awakened version significantly improves PvP performance and grinding capability.

Spider costs a total of f 17,300 to fully awaken. Upon awakening at least one move, players receive the title "The Spider" #036.

Spider is widely recognized for its good potential in PvP but requires exceptional skill to use effectively. The fruit rewards players who can master its unique moveset and positioning requirements.

Trivia & Interesting Facts

Spider is used by Swan and Don Swan as boss characters
Swan has a unique move called Multi-directional Silk
Don Swan has an improved version of Spider in the second stage of his fight
Despite being called "Spider", it is not a Beast type fruit because it allows players to control strings rather than transform into a spider
Spider is the second fruit that has a Beast themed Natural type fruit, the first one being Venom
The current unawakened [F] Spider Path is actually the pre-rework awakened String's [F] Spider Highway
Every awakened move of Spider can be held to deal more damage, but not indefinitely

Legacy Information
